Finance and Administration Clerk

Hours: 20 hrs/week, Monday-Friday

What you will do:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, personable, and exceptionally organized. Performing comprehensive administration tasks and procedures, the successful candidate will efficiently collect and interpret data, prepare high quality reports, coordinate and support office services, and assist in logistical requirements for organized events. The successful candidate will also have a thorough understanding of financial procedures such as: accounts payable, accounts receivable, government reporting and remittances, and payroll. The incumbent will assume other related duties as assigned. This position is based in Corner Brook and may require travel outside of regular workday hours.

Qualifications:

Applicants with experience and a valid certificate are preferred, however other combinations of training and experience will be considered:​

  • A diploma in an accredited business administration/office administration program with accounting focus.

  • Experience and training in accounting programs and software.

  • Knowledge of non-profit financial information and QuickBooks accounting software will be considered an asset.

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite of programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in an office environment.

  • Valid Driver’s license.

  • Be able to provide a clear criminal record check
