2020 has been a challenging year for the tourism industry, with national and international visitation grinding to an abrupt halt. At Go Western Newfoundland, our summers are usually busy with meetings, workshops, and hosting FAM (familiarization) tours. Due to COVID-19, like the rest of the world, we struggled to find a way forward in this new normal.
We choose to seize this opportunity to tackle the projects we've always dreamed of. Projects that would benefit Western Newfoundland and it's tourism operators, our members.
This website is one of those projects. We hope it will be more user friendly for our members, stakeholders, and our friends in travel trade and travel media.
We look forward to sharing more in the upcoming months.
